Sow outside from April, as soon as the soil can be worked. Sow the seeds at approximately 1 cm distance from each other and cover the seeds with a thin layer of seed soil. These species are light germinators. The seed may be mixed with some dry sand to make sowing easier. Keep 15 cm distance between rows to make weeding easier. Once the seedlings are large enough to handle, thin them out to about 2 - 3 cm space. They can be harvested after 21 - 28 days. Cut or trim the Mesclun mix Asian as required, but make sure the roots and a few centimetres remain so that this can grow again and be harvested later. When it is dry keep the soil well moist. Snails and aphids can be a threat to Mesclun mix Asian.
