Dill is a beautiful and useful plant in any garden. It helps the digestion and helps to prevent flatulence and it also stimulates the formation of milk in nursing women. It flowers with yellow flower screens on grey-green, featherly leaves and grey-green stems. The leaves and stems have a very potent smell and flavour. The seeds have an anise-like smell and flavour. Dill can be used fresh or dried in salads, soups, stews, dip-sauces, in fish dishes, in sauces, egg dishes and in vegetable dishes. Don't cook it for a long time, because this can cause loss of flavour. Dill seeds are used for pickling. Annual. Heigth: 90cm.
