White Bishop's weed is also known as Bullwort and Lady's Lace. This plant originates from the Mediterrenean area and has spred over the whole of Europe. This plant is common in the wild in The Netherlands and Belgium too. This very beautiful, delicate, white flowering umbrellas and stand on light green thin and fragile stems surrounded by feather-like, Dill-like, fresh green leaves. Use as a very striking eye-catcher in the border, in large groups, in wild garden and as cutflower and cutweed. Very well suited for the filling in of bouqets. Hardy annual. Height: 100 cm.

Sow outdoors from february on when the soil can be worked. Give this plant a very sunny position with well drained soil. Use some manure and humus true the soil. Sow shallow and thinly and press the seeds into the soil gently. Keep moist and weedfree. Thin the seedlings, when they're large enough to handle, to 25 - 35 cm apart. Bishop's weed can reseed itself very easily. This makes this plant very well suited for a wild garden.
