Rose Mallow Mont Blanc has striking, attractive, large, snow-white, trumpet-shaped flowers with contrasting, slighty hairy foliage. Rose Mallow is very attractive to bees and butterflies. Very well suited for grouping in borders, gardens or as a cut-flower. Annual. Height: 50 cm.

Sow indoors from mid march on in trays or seperate pots with potting soil. Cover the seeds with about 1 cm soil. Cover the trays or pots with some clingfilm or a lid to preserve the moisture. Keep moist. Keep the temperature as even as possible during the germination. Don't let the temperature drop during the night. Remove the clingfilm or the lid when te seedlings emerge. Let the seedlings acclimatize to outside conditions in may, when there's no longer any danger of nightfrosts. Plant them after a couple of days on a sunny , sheltered plot.
Sow outdoors from mid april on a sunny and sheltered plot. Cover the seeds with about 1 cm soil. Thin the seedlings, when they're large enough to handle, to 30 cm. Keep moist and weedfree. This plant is very attractive to bees and butterflies. Rose Mallow can also be sown in large pots and containers. Also makes for a beautiful long lasting cut flower, when the flowers are cut in the bud.
