Forget-me-not indigo compacta flowers with highly attractive, bright blue little flowers with a contrasting bright yellow hart. This low growing plant doesn't grow tall, but it's a very attractive and striking addition to every garden. It give mainly in the beginning of spring a real colourboost and is often grown together with tulips. Very suited as groundcover and it even thrives on very wet soil. Flowers from the beginning of spring right into summer and if You don't remove the plant it will self-seed. Hardy biennial. Height: 20 - 25 cm.

Sow outdoors from may till july in a well prepared seedbed on a sunny plot with some shade. Give some extra manure. Sow in rows about 30 cm apart. Forget-me-not is a light germinater and needs light to germinate. Don't cover the seeds, but rake them in gently. Keep moist and weedfree.
After about 10 - 14 days the seedlings emerge.Thin the seedlings, when they're large enough to handel, to about 10 cm apart. Replant the seedlings in september - october to their permanent spot. Keep the plants about 15-20 cm apart. Cover the plant in the winter against frosts. Reseeds itself after flowering.
