Blue Ball dwarf is a very popular and beautiful plant. It's used in the beginning of spring to give colour in any garden or border. It's often grown together with tulips. Very well suited as a carpet of flowers. It thrives even on very wett and soggy soil. This little and lowgrowing flower gives a real carpet with little, bright blue flowers. Flowers from the beginning of spring till the summer. It can reseed itself. Easy to grow. Hardy biennial. Height: 15-20 cm.

Sow outdoors from May till July in a well prepared seedbed on a sunny plot with some shade. Give some extra manure. Sow in rows about 30 cm apart. Forget-me-not is a light germinater and needs light to germinate. Don't cover the seeds, but rake them in gently. Keep moist and weedfree.
After about 10 - 14 days the seedlings emerge.Thin the seedlings, when they're large enough to handel, to about 10 cm apart. Replant the seedlings in September - October to their permanent spot. Keep the plants about 15-20 cm apart. Cover the plant in the winter against frosts. Reseeds itself after flowering.
