Larkspur Giant Imperial Mix has straight, vertical, flowers with many beautiful, tidly packed little flowers. This mix is a mixture of different shades of blue, purple, pink and white. Very well suited as a backdrop in a garden and to cover walls or fences. Can also be used as a cut flower and cudweed. Very attractive to bees and butterflies. This plant is very poisonous. Biennial. Height: 60-90 cm.

Sow indoors in trays with potting soil or outdoors under glass from february till end of march. Sow shallow and cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil. Cover the tray with a lid. Keep moist.
Remove the lid when the seedlings emerge. Transplant the seedlings, when they're large enough to handle, to individual pots. Hard them to outside conditions, in mid may, when there's no longer any danger of nightfrosts. Transplant them after a couple of days on a sunny plot with some shade and free draining soil.
Sow outdoors on a well prepared seedbed from mid may till mid july. Cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil. Keep moist and weedfree. Transplant the seedlings on a sunny, sheltered plot with some shade and free draining soil from october till november. These plants flower in the following year. Larkspur has a low resistance against Mildew. This plant is very poisonous. Larkspur is very attractive to bees and butterflies.
