Common Blanketflower mixed originates from the U.S.A. and isn't hardy in our climate. Older plants can be protected against cold and frost and helped true the winter. This easy to grow, strong, beautiful and striking variety has large, margeritue like flowers in different shades and combinations of yellow, red and brownish red with contrasting eyes. It has thin, light green leaves and stands on a bit fragile, light green stems. Very well suited for a plant border, growing in large flowerpots and containers, for a bee and butterflies garden and as lang lasting cutflower. It can witstand drought. Non hardy perennial. Height: 60 cm.

Sow indoors in seperate pots filled with moist potting soil from march on. Sow shallow and thinly and press the seeds gently in. Keep moist and cover the pots with clingfilm or a lid to retain the moisture. Remove the clingfilm or lid when the seedlings emerge and put away much cooler at 15°C. Harden the seedlings of by putting them outdoors in a sunny plot with shelter for approx. 10 days during the day from the beginning of may. Put outdoors on a very sunny plot with shelter and free draining soil from the middle of may. Keep moist and weedfree.
