Marguerite May Queen is a perrenial with bright white, tender flowers and a very attractive and contrasting golden-yellow eye on tender dark green stems surrounded by long, slender dark green leaves. An ideal plant for a border, in the natural garden, in a cottage garden, in flower pots and as a cut flower when the flowers are still closed. Very attractive to bees and butterflies. Stays green in winter but must be protected against heavy rainfall and snow.

Sow outdoors from the middle of may, when there's no longer any danger of nightfrosts. Sow shallow and thin in a well prepared, manured and moist seeding bed. Keep moist and weedfree. Thin the seedlings to approx. 10 - 15 cm when the seedlings are large enough to handle.Transplant the seedlings to their permanent spot on a sunny plot with some shade from october.
Marguerite is a clump forming plant. it can be devided by sowing or by tearing up the clump. This plant is very attractive to bees and butterflies. This biennial flowers in the year after sowing.
