Rock Cress is also known as Aubrietta. The little, striking, low growing flowers have a mixture of different shades of purple, blue and violet. They stand on short firm stems and are surrounded by light green serated leaves. This variety is well suited for the use as ground cover, to fill in any edges of a border, against low wall and for the growing in flower pots and containers. Hardy perennial. Height: 10 - 15 cm.

Sow outdoors in a well prepared seeding bed from the beginning of May. Use a well manured, moist and loosened soil. Sow thinly and shallow and press the seeds in gently. Keep moist and weedfree. Keep the temperature as constant as possible and keep moist during germination. Thin the seedlings to 10 - 15 cm when they're large enough to handle. Transplant the seedlings to their permanent spot from October. Give them a sunny plot with some shade and well draining soil. Water with drought and don't let the plants dry out.
