Lemon Balm is an organically grown, very fragrant and deliciously flavoured Lemon Balm variety. These plants flower with little light yellow flowers above light green leaves. This variety contains about 4 % essential oils. The of lemon smelling leaves are used dried and fresh to make a delicious tea. The fresh leaves can be used to give a slight lemon flavour to beverages, sauces, fruit salads or fruit juices. Hardy perennial. Height: 25 - 30 cm.

Sow outdoors from april on (avoid frosts) in a sunny, sheltered spot with some early afternoon shade. Cover the seeds with about 1 cm sowing soil. Keep moist and weed free.
Thin the seedlings, when they are large enough to handle, to 25 cm apart. This perennial can stay outside in the winter when planted in a sheltered, sunny spot.
