An attractive plant which is used as a ground cover plant with little lilac flowers and light green leaves with a strong mint flavour. The leaves can be used sparingly in soups, sauces and in salads. Pregnant women shouldn't use it. In the past it was used to kill fleas, aid the digestion and to heal indigestion. Pennyroyal is very attractive for bees and butterflies. Semi-Hardy perennial. Heigth: 25-30 cm.

Sow outdoors from may till july. This is ground covering plant, but it doesn't spread out like other mint varieties.
Pennyroyal can be sown and planted in allmost every soil. Just keep it very moist or damp and protect the plant against frost. It can witstand mild frost (about -5°C).
