Sow mint indoors from the beginning of april till the end of may. Sow in large pots or in trays filled with moist potting soil. Sow thinly and not to deep. Cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil. Keep the temperature as even as possible and don't let the temperatures drop during the night. Harden the seedlings of during the day in the sun for approx. 10 - 14 days in the beginning of may. Plant the seedlings outdoors on a sunny plot with free draining soil from the middle of may till the end of may, when there's no longer any risk of night frosts.
Sow mint outdoors from may till july. Sow thinly and not to deep. Keep the seeds moist during germination. Sow preferbly in closed containers or pots to prevent the plant from overgrowing weaker plants. It grows and thrives in all types of soil but good free draining soil is necessary. Can be planted in a sunny or half shaded spot. Don't let the plant become waterlogged. Can also be grown in pots indoors for easy harvesting while cooking.
