Green Amsoi originates from Africa. It's widely used in Surinamese cuisine. Hence it's also called Indian mustard. It's a loose-leaf leaf vegetable with a spicy, slightly bitter and mustard-like taste. It therefore does not form coal, but remains loose-leaved. The leaf is quite large and colored very nice light green. This delicious and healthy vegetable contains a lot of healthy nutrients and is very good to combine with meat, fish and poultry. Amsoi can be stored in the refrigerator for several days (3 to 4 days). It's a member of the cabbage family (Brassicae). Green Amsoi is very easy to grow and harvest yourself. Can also be sown in vegetable garden pots, large pots and balcony boxes for people who don't have a garden.
