Strawberry goosefoot is a "Heirloom vegetable" in the Netherlands. The leaves can be used like spinach. The flavour of the leaves reminds of hazelnut. The flavour of the red fruits reminds of red beetroots.
It's an edible member of the goosefoot family. Use the leaves in soups, stews, casseroles and stir-fries. Or cook it in the same way you would cook spinach. Use the little fruits in salads, fruitsalads, in jam, sauces and as a healthy snack.
