Blue lake is a very delicious and reliable variety. It has a good drought tolerance. The beans get about medium size tall and are almost string- less with a very sweet and tender flavour. Can be frozen to store. Plant them against a fence, some gauze, a trellis or some bamboo sticks for support.Height: 150 - 180 cm.

Thin the seedlings, when they're large enough to handle to about 25 - 30 cm. Give the plants a very sturdy support. Harvest the beans when they're about 25 cm in size and cut them with scissors of the plant. Give enough water and feeding.
